Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.A.is an international, privately-managed pharmaceutical company based in Parma, Italy. Chiesi dedicates itself to the research, development and sales of innovative, therapeutic prescription products in the areas of respiratory, neonatology, transplant medicine and rare diseases.
The company was founded in 1935 and now employs over 7,000 people in 31 subsidiaries worldwide. Its products are marketed in 100 countries. In the year 2023 it was able to achieve a turnover of EUR 3.026 billion.
Chiesi GmbH in Germany
Chiesi GmbH is headquartered in Hamburg and employs a total of around 400 people, who work both in office and field-based roles. As one of Chiesi’s biggest sales companies, in the year 2023 it achieved turnover totaling EUR 360,8 million.
In 2024 Chiesi was once again awarded the accolade of Top Employer by the TOP Employers Institute and also "Deutschlands beste Arbeitgeber 2020 Great Place to Work" for the first time, recertified in 2023.
