At Chiesi, we value diversity. We support collaboration as an inclusive team.
Diversity of gender, generation, ability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, opinion and culture are an integral part of our company.
The different perspectives enable us to develop creative ideas and sustainable solutions.
When we talk about inclusion, we also refer to the invisible differences: thinking, behavior, sensitivity and lifestyle. Differences are important and we want to ensure that they can be valued and expressed.
We want to create a pleasant working environment in which everyone feels comfortable and confident. We are convinced that this commitment increases well-being, promotes innovation, attracts top talent and strengthens our company.
Chiesi has established a global D&I policy and a global D&I committee to promote the topics of diversity and inclusion and anchor them in the corporate culture.
This initiative aims to transform the challenges faced by people with disabilities into opportunities for growth and collaboration. By recognising and harnessing each individual's unique potential, we strive to create an environment where expressing needs is encouraged and representation of people with disabilities within our workforce is increased.
Measures Implemented So Far:
A new office building with reduced barriers to accessibility
More accessible websites – thanks to the accessiWay widget, our sites have become more barrier-free through AI and intuitive navigation
Collaboration with myAbility and Dialoghaus Hamburg
We are implementing concrete actions that make Diversity & Inclusion tangible at every level – from the first encounter to ongoing development in everyday working life:
D&I in Onboarding: New employees are introduced to our values around diversity and inclusion right from the start.
Annual Activities for German Diversity Day: We use this day to raise awareness, foster exchange, and collectively take a stand for diversity.
Global Chiesi Affinity Networks: These networks provide space for dialogue and empowerment – in Germany, the women’s network has been active since 2020.
Unconscious Bias Workshops: All employees have the opportunity to explore unconscious thought patterns and develop a more mindful approach in their daily work.
