Every one of us is different. Every one of us is Chiesi. This is how we understand inclusion and diversity.

At Chiesi, we value diversity. We support collaboration as an inclusive team.

Diversity of gender, generation, ability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, opinion and culture are an integral part of our company.

The different perspectives enable us to develop creative ideas and sustainable solutions.

When we talk about inclusion, we also refer to the invisible differences: thinking, behavior, sensitivity and lifestyle. Differences are important and we want to ensure that they can be valued and expressed.  

We want to create a pleasant working environment in which everyone feels comfortable and confident. We are convinced that this commitment increases well-being, promotes innovation, attracts top talent and strengthens our company.

Chiesi has established a global D&I policy and a global D&I committee to promote the topics of diversity and inclusion and anchor them in the corporate culture.

Our successes

  • The internal gender equality program has enabled us to close the gender pay gap in our company.
  • We offer unconscious bias workshops for managers. Here we learn to recognize and eliminate unconscious assumptions and stereotypes.
  • We founded the first employee network at Chiesi Germany: the WIN women's network.
  • We are thinking D&I for our new office building and are looking forward to a more inclusive and barrier-free office building in September 2025.
  • Every year, we organize Diversity Weeks to raise awareness, educate people, increase visibility, and promote encounters and exchanges of experience.
  • Chiesi B Corp has been certified since 2019 and has signed the Diversity Charter.
